Boule Measure

Measure which boule is closest to the jack — from a photo.

1. Once: choose your phone in Settings.
2. Tap Measure, hold the phone about 1 m above the jack and tap the button. Then slide the phone 30 cm sideways, slowly, keeping the jack in the middle of the screen. No ring needed: the ground itself, seen from two places, gives the distances.
3. Check the circles the app draws. Drag any that are off, or add missing balls.
4. Close calls are flagged “too close to call” with the reason. They get rarer as the app learns your phone’s camera over the first few sweeps.
